As a senior at Florida International University studying to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Management, I like to take on many challenges at once. It’s not that I enjoy struggling to get by on a day to day basis, I just prefer to always feel that everything I do has a purpose. Aside from my serving job at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, I’m a freelance model/actor for Krush TMK, Stellar Talent, Wells Entertainment, and Las Olas Models (www.michelleconcilio.com). I aim to continue working as a Brand Ambassador for promotional casino events while gaining additional experience in the event coordinating field, specifically in music festival productions. Decreased processing time by 30% for a major production company by developing a new system that eliminated redundancies and reduced errors. Filed and configured paperwork for distribution among various neighborhoods
Packaged over 2,000 flyers of advertisement equipment for half a dozen seminars. Ensured accuracy of work completed by all workers by scheduling check in and clock out times twice a day. Constructed payment plans of class members daily to be issued once a month

Community Blood Centers of South Florida

July 2011 – May 2012 (11 months) Blood Drive Coordinator (Volunteer Experience & Causes)

Handled blood drives, and made sure all tasks were carried out by those appointed. Tasks included submissions to a dozen stores to donate food to supply at least 100 donors for each blood drive, set up waiting areas for 10 donors at a time, and organized incoming donors throughout each drive. Raised over $7,000 in blood donations by April of 2012. Set goals to increase donor turnouts by creating strategies to increase awareness of blood drives through word of mouth, and social media (inviting at least 500). I ensured the attendance and accuracy of forms for donors. I met the reporting requirements of the blood drive association by recruiting at least 100 donors per blood drive
