Saved Hewlett-Packard Enterprise thousands of dollars and hundreds hours of labor by by developing a series of quick quote tools in VBA which automated the process of turning abstract client requirements into a monetized bill of materials for network devices that the client would need to purchase for HPE to deliver enterprise-level LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDC or WAN Optimization network solutions.
Developed and maintained an HP in-house .NET (Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server) application to maintain and modify network device life cycle data for all of HP’s clients.
Performed enterprise-level Check Point/Cisco firewall engineering and HP TippingPoint NIPS device engineering for HP’s top national, international and multinational clients.
Researched Network Access Control (NAC) in order to create a standardized service offering for HP’s Network Security Portfolio.

Worked during and outside of school semesters at CREATE, a university-funded VR research organization, using the VR Juggler API (in C++) to develop high-end, multi-million dollar VR research simulations on state-of-the-art VR hardware environments with graduate students and computer scientists under the guidance of one of the pioneers of virtual reality.
Physically constructed a VR student lab in Rougeau Hall at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL). Calibrated and configured the lab systems for use in VR simulations.
This was part of a work-study scholarship awarded to me by the university.
