Description
I am a driven third year college student, studying journalism with an emphasis in music journalism. I have been writing about electronic dance music for about three and a half years, starting with a blog, ElectroJams. I was a key factor in helping the blog grow from an audience of about 5,000 to 20,000, and was the Facebook page administrator, as well as the photographer. After about a year and a half, I worked my way up to TheFrontliner.com, another music blog. I posted interviews and ran the Twitter account.
I put myself out there and landed freelance jobs with DJ Times, and Vibe Mag. My proudest accomplishment is being published in the June and September issues of DJ MAG USA.
While I have some experience with journalism and photography, I would love to gain experience within any other realm of the music industry, be it PR or talent seeking. This music is my life and I want to stay engulfed.

DJ MAG is an international magazine dedicated to the electronic dance music and DJs.
I contacted artists and management to set up interviews; wrote about upcoming artists, DJ culture, reviews of shows and festivals. I have been published in the September 2014 issue and the June 2014 issue, and have been published on the website. -
