Marketing & Event Specialist
Partnered with internal entities to create comprehensive program and event strategies with a focus on financial success with attendance ranging from 65-1000. Managed relationships with key external organizations and groups to cultivate a strong partnership and enhance IFG’s brand in the financial marketplace. Managed a team of event professionals and took the lead on end-to-end conference and on-site event management: including program mapping and planning, budgets, logistics, messaging (internal and external), developing content with engineers, and other core elements to successfully meet event objectives.
Worked directly with the Chief Marketing Officer and outside vendors to develop and deliver innovative and effective strategies for: email marketing, social media campaigns/initiatives, reputation management, community involvement/sponsorship opportunities, and overall brand development. Worked alongside the advertising team to help oversee the strategy and execution of direct mail campaigns, content development, sales events, and search engine optimization. Acted as a liaison between the Graphic Design Team and magazine publications to assist in the development of effective advertising material.
Executed deliverables, such as marketing communications copy for print collateral, web content, digital campaigns, etc., ensuring all adhere to the marketing strategy and brand guidelines. Worked directly with Compliance, Operations, Alternative Investments, Insurance, Recruiting, Supervision and Retirement Services. Built solid relationships with sponsors, vendors and internal team members across IFG to manage expectations and ensure high-quality event management.
Acted as a day-to-day contact and general support to all sponsorship and advisor’s marketing needs. Maintained a friendly, enthusiastic and professional relationship with all contacts.
