TKS (The Kufi Smacker) is a DC based DJ hailing from the suburbs of Philadephia known for his ability to mix up forward thinking new music with all your favorite party jams. TKS has built a reputation around his eclectic selections. In his own words, TKS’ mixes are best defined as “energy with the essence of soul.”

Although he recently began DJing in 2015, TKS has quickly created a unique presence for himself as one of the new generation of DJs in DC’s music scene. Performing at small and major venues alike such as Songbyrd Music House, 9:30 Club, Tropicalia, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Velvet Lounge and more.

TKS has opened and played alongside rising artists of various genres such as Loyle Carner, Slick Shoota, and Sassy Black. He has also shared line ups with Anderson Paak, Sango, Jhene Aiko, The Internet, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Future to name a few.
