Description
I am a recent college graduate from Southern Oregon University looking to pursue a career in Outdoor Recreation, Event Planning and Management (specifically live events; i.e. concerts, sports), or related fields.
After attending EDC: Las Vegas in 2014, I realized one of my passions is for EDM music. Since then I have created a dream job that I call a Quality Assurance Agent. In short, it is someone who surveys patrons, dj’s, and all types staff (from first aid and “Ground Control” like positions to EMT’s and coordinators) to get a feel for the likes/dislikes of everyone who is at an event. This information would then be tabulated and used for planning the next installment of any given event.
I created this job based on my enjoyment of interacting with others to create an event. I enjoy the high energy level atmosphere at events and believe that interaction at an event produces the best results. When you are there in person you can get immediate feedback from individuals. This feedback is immediate and is more likely to contain both the larger and smaller details (which as time progresses, becomes forgotten). Even tweaking the little things can make all the difference.
I want to be a direct part of creating events and making existing events even bigger and better than their previous installments.
